Trading in Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) means swapping items like knives, guns or pets with other players. Here I show you how trading works, what “values” mean and how to spot and avoid scammers. 💖
How a trade works in MM2

Find a trade partner
Find someone in the game or in a trading server who wants to trade with you.

Start the trade
Send a trade request or accept one. A trade window opens for both of you.

Add your items
Both add your items to the trade. Look carefully at what the other person is really offering.

Check & confirm
Only confirm when you both agree. If in doubt, better cancel! 🎉
What do “values” mean?
Every item in MM2 has a rough “value” – how rare or wanted it is. With a value list you can see whether a trade is fair. That way you know if you’re getting a good deal or if someone is trying to rip you off.
What is a fair trade?
Fair means: both get roughly the same value. “Overpay” means someone willingly gives more to get a certain item – that’s fine if you choose to. But never let anyone pressure you into a trade where you give far more than you get.
Important: avoid scams! 🛡️
Sadly there are scammers. These rules keep you safe:
- NEVER do a “trust trade” (you give first, the other person supposedly gives back). It’s almost always a scam.
- Never share your password, account or real details – no real trade needs that.
- Don’t trade MM2 items for real money or Robux with strangers. That often ends in a scam.
- If a deal feels off: cancel, and ask your parents when in doubt.
